Review: Products by Idun Minerals

Ciao a tutte ragazze! Rieccoci qui con una recensione a tema make-up.

Stavolta vi parleremo di alcuni prodotti ricevuti cortesemente da Idun Minerals. 

Si tratta di un brand svedese di make-up minerale e naturale. In particolar modo Idun usa polveri minerali altamente purificate, dalla pigmentazione e coprenza elevata senza andare a danneggiare la pelle ma, anzi, con proprietà protettive ed emollienti. La linea completa include fondotinta, cipria, correttore, blush, bronzer, lipgloss, rossetti, ombretti, mascara ma anche una linea di pennelli.  I prodotti base non contengono talco, olio, silicone, profumo, bismuto o conservanti come i parabeni. I prodotti sono anche anidri, in modo da impedire la formazione di batteri. I minerali sono nickel e chromium tested.

Il nome del marchio è un chiaro riferimento alla divinità Idun della mitologia norrena, conosciuta come la dea della giovinezza, la custode dei frutti degli dei. 

I prodotti ci sono arrivati in un pacco, insieme ad una graziosa bustina di cartone, molto elegante, con i disegni di Patrizia Gucci che rappresentano la divinità Idun.

I packaging di tutti i prodotti sono davvero deliziosi e fatti bene, eleganti e raffinati, con uno stile che vira tra il moderno e il rinascimentale. La mela è il simbolo del marchio (simbolicamente il frutto della giovinezza custodito dalla dea), infatti viene ripresentata sia sui packaging primari che su quelli secondari e anche incisa nelle polveri dei prodotti.

Noi abbiamo avuto modo di provare:

• Eir Curling Black Mascara

Si tratta di un nuovo mascara lanciato da poco, incurvante, allungante, volumizzante e a lunga tenuta.

Arriva all'interno della sua confezione, bianca con scritte nere e dorate, con un ritratto centrale sempre di Patrizia Gucci: un bozzetto della dea Idun che si guarda le spalle tenendo una mela nella mano sinistra. La confezione contiene 12 ml di prodotto.

H: Il prodotto si presenta in un tubetto cilindrico nero opaco con scritte dorate/ramate e una mela stampata nella parte superiore del tappo. Lo scovolino è leggermente curvo e più sottile nella parte finale, lo trovo comodo perché aiuta a catturare bene tutte le ciglia, soprattutto quelle piccole interne.

 La consistenza è cremosa, abbastanza fluida e di un nero piuttosto intenso. Da quando mi è arrivato sto usando praticamente solo lui. L'effetto incurvante e allungante si nota, le ciglia vengono volumizzante ma non come qualche altro mascara che ho provato. 

 

Rimane comunque abbastanza naturale. Ottimo per i look di tutti i giorni.

• Silfr Long Lashes – Black Mascara

Mascara nero minerale allungante, ricco di pigmenti naturali, allunga e separa le ciglia, mentre i minerali le proteggono e si prendono cura di esse.  È adatto ad occhi sensibili, portatori di lenti a contatto e sono testato oftalmologicamente.  

K: Ci è stata inviata una mini-size di questo mascara, che si presenta in uno stick argento con scritte nere. La full-size è di 11ml, mentre la mini è di 4ml. Lo scovolino è uno classico in silicone, con dei piccoli dentini che ti permettono di pettinare per bene le ciglia. 

Il colore è nero intenso e devo dire che il risultato mi piace molto! È molto naturale e non dà l’effetto “zampe di ragno”, allunga abbastanza le mie ciglia. 

Ho gli occhi sensibili e non mi ha creato alcuni tipo di problema, non brucia e non dà irritazione. La formula è più pastosa di quelle che ho provato in precedenza, ma non appiccica.

Resiste fino a sera senza problemi e si strucca facilmente.

In linea generale lo trovo un ottimo mascara! Lo porto praticamente sempre con me in borsa ed è diventato compagno fedele del mio beauty.

• Creme Lipstick in Ingrid Marie

Si tratta di un rossetto cremoso dal finish lucido, lievemente pigmentato, contiene burro di karitè e olio di semi di camemoro. Lo stick contiene 5,6 g di prodotto.

H: Il rossetto è custodito in un packaging secondario bianco con scritte nere e dorate e un ritratto in primo piano della dea Idun. Il packaging primario è elegante e un po' retrò, abbastanza grosso rispetto ad altri rossetti. E' nero e dorato lucido, con una mela dorata stampata in alto.

Essendo cremoso si stende facilmente sulle labbra lasciando un velo di colore corallo con microgiltter argentati. Pur non essendo un finish che preferisco, mi è piaciuto molto perchè dona alle labbra un effetto naturale, lievemente bagnato e luminoso, facendole apparire più carnose. Ottimo per dei look freschi ma anche per un tocco genuino che contrasti con un make-up occhi abbastanza strong. 

La durata è bassa/media, dopo 2/3 ore circa il colore svanisce, ciononostante quello che ho apprezzato di più di questo rossetto è l'idratazione che lascia sulle labbra. Infatti le rende davvero molto morbide, quasi come un burro labbra, per cui non secca e non crea antiestetiche pellicine, anzi... Casomai aiuta a contrastarle.

• Eyeshadow – Kungsljus – 110

Ombretto minerale, nella tonalità Kungsljus – Verbasco in italiano. 

K: è un ombretto di un bellissimo nude rosato con dei riflessi dorati all’interno. È shimmer, io lo utilizzo tantissimo come base o per creare i punti luce, ma è talmente bello che anche da solo fa la sua figura. Dura circa 6 ore senza primer, con quest’ultimo dura tutto il giorno, è semplice da sfumare ed è setoso e burroso al tatto. 

Mi piace moltissimo il pack, è in plastica nera con sopra il disegno della divinità Idun. Ha all’interno un comodissimo specchio e sull’ombretto è impressa una mela, simbolo del marchio. Uno dei pack più belli di sempre! Molto resistente e con una fantastica chiusura.

Hello girls! Here we are again with a make-up review.

This time we will talk about some products received courteously by Idun Minerals. It is a Swedish brand of mineral and natural make-up.  Idun Minerals uses highly purified minerals. Their makeup line gives full coverage while also caring for and protecting skin. It does not contain artificial ingredients or even some of the natural impurities that can have a bad effect on skin. The full line includes: foundation, powder, concealer, blush, bronzer, lipgloss, lipstick, eye shadow and mascara. It also includes associated brushes and a brush cleaner. Minerals are nickel and chromium tested. The basic products do not contain talc, oil, silicone, fragrance, bismuth or preservatives such as parabens. The products are also inorganic and anhydrous, in order to prevent the formation of bacteria.

The brand name is a clear reference to the Goddess Idun, presented in Norse mythology, known as the Goddess of youth, the guardian of the fruit of the gods.

The products came with a pretty packet of cardboard, very elegant with Patrizia Gucci designs that represent the Goddess Idun.

The packaging of all products are really nice and well made, elegant and refined, with a style that veers between the modern and the Renaissance. The apple is the symbol of the brand (symbolically the fruit of youth of the gods), we can find it on the primary packaging, on the secondary one and even engraved in the product powders.

We tested:

• Eir Curling Black Mascara

It is a new mascara launched recently, curling, volumizing and long-lasting.

It comes inside its packaging, a white little box with black and gold writings, with a central portrait always by Patrizia Gucci: a sketch of the Goddess Idun watching her back while holding an apple in her left hand. 12 ml of product.

H: The product comes in a matte black cylindrical tube with gold/auburn writings and a printed apple at the top of the cap. The applicator is slightly curved and thinner in the end, I find it easy, because it helps capture well all the lashes, especially the small ones. The consistency is creamy, quite fluid, the color is an intense black. Since it arrived I have been using it pretty much. The curling effect is good, and eyelashes are volumized but not like some other mascaras I've tried. It remains quite natural. Great for everyday look.

• Silfr Mascara Black

Idun Mineral’s Silfr Mascara is the ultimate lengthening mineral mascara. With an ultra-purified mineral formula and rich, natural pigments, it lengthens and separates lashes while coating them with rich minerals that protect and care for them. It is ophthalmologist tested and suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

K: We received a mini-size of this mascara, which comes in a silver stick with black writing. The full-size is 11ml, while the mini is 4ml. The applicator is in silicone, with small teeth which allow you to comb through the lashes well.
The color is deep black and I must say that I like the result very much! It is very natural and doesn't create the "spider's legs" effect, lengthen my lashes enough.
I have sensitive eyes and not created me some kind of problem, it does not burn and does not give irritation. The formula is more mellow than I have experienced before, but not sticky.
It resists until evening without any problems and it is easy to remove.
In general, i Think is a good mascara! It is a faithful beauty alley.

• Creme Lipstick Ingrid Marie

It is a creamy lipstick with a transparent finish. It contains shea butter and oil of cloudberry. The stick contains 5.6 g of product.

H: the lipstick comes in a white box with black and gold writings and a portrait in the foreground of the Goddess Idun. The primary packaging  is elegant and a bit retro, bigger than other lipsticks'packagings. It is black and gold, with a golden apple printed on the top of the cap.

It is easy to apply, really creamy and soft, a light coral color with silver microglitters. Despite not being a finish that I prefer, I like this product because it gives a very natural effect, slightly and bright, it makes the lips more plumped. Great for the fresh look but also for a genuine touch that contrasts with a strong make-up eyes. The duration is low / medium, after 2/3 hours the color fades. However, what I enjoyed the most of this lipstick is the hydration. In fact, It really moisturizies the lips, almost like a lip balm.

⁠⁠⁠Eyeshadow- Kungsljus - 110

 

Mineral eye shadow, in shade Kungsljus - Mullein in Italian.

K: It is a champagne/pinkish eyeshadow with golden hues. It's shimmer but I use it a lot as a base or to create light points, but it's so nice that alone makes its figure. It lasts about 6 hours without primer. With an eyeshadow base it lasts even longer, it is easy to blend and is silky and buttery to the touch.

I really like the pack, it is black compact plastic with this wonderful portrait of the Goddess Idun.

Inside there is a little mirror and on the poweder is engraved an apple, symbol of the brand. One of the most beautiful pack ever! Very durable and with a fantastic closing.
